Annual Meet

2017 DBC California Dreamin’ Tour
31st Annual International Dodge Brothers Club Meet
Fallbrook, Southern CALIFORNIA
Sunday, June 18 – Thursday, June 22, 2017
Beautiful Fallbrook, in the heart of the Temecula Valley Wine Country, is the location for the 31st Annual 2017 DODGE BROTHERS International Meet.
Fallbrook is nestled in the rolling Foothills of North County San Diego. Nearby Temecula Valley shares the southern border of Riverside County. This territory is rich in Native American history long before the Gold Rush and California Statehood in 1850.
Now known for its rich agricultural lands, Fallbrook is known for its avocado groves, native Live Oak trees, Olive trees, and plant nurseries, and claims the title of "Avocado Capital of the World." Temecula Valley is renown for its award winning wine vineyards.
Come and join us and visit the hidden treasures as we explore sunny Southern California!
Our Tours include:
Vista Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum. This is their Spring Engine Steam Up. You will see working live steam and gas engines, old tractors, along with weaving looms, quilting bees, clock shop, blacksmith and wheelwright demonstrations, and more. We will drive our DB cars in the Tractor Parade at 1:00 pm.
Visit a working Elephant Farm. Get up close and personal with the world’s largest land animal. Learn what it takes to raise and care for elephants. You might even get to ride one, if you dare.
Visit Orange Empire Railway Museum where we will get to ride the old trollies around the railway grounds, and visit the trains in their barns and around the large property.
Ride a steam locomotive at Bobby Babcock’s Fallbrook Estate. Tour his private antique car collection, wagon barn, western theme buildings, and train memorabilia.
Visit the Mission San Antonio de Pala. This is an active Native American Mission Church and Museum that will celebrate its 200th Anniversary during our Tour. This is the only Mission to have remained in continuous service as was originally established ministering a native population.
A local Award Winning Winery Tour of the vineyards, wine making operation, and wine tasting for those who wish to whet their palate.
Western Science Center and Dinosaur Museum. Home to a large collection of Native American artifacts and Ice Age fossils that were unearthed at Diamond Valley Lake, including "Max", the largest mastodon found in the western United States, and "Xena", a Columbian mammoth.
