NorthWest Dodge Brothers Meet

The first Northwest Mini Meet will be held around the city of Hood River, Oregon. This will take place over the weekend of May 14-16 with hotel reservations for Friday and Saturday nights. Andy and Jean Anderson are putting the details together with the intention of touring the new Western Air and Auto Museum. We plan on visiting the fish ladders at Bonneville Dam and also a logging museum on the banks of the Columbia River. If the Andersons can pull enough strings, we will also take a drive on the ancient gorge highway which is cut into the cliffs on the Oregon side. This is a beautiful area of Oregon with views of the river and roads running through acres of orchards.

Ohio/W Pa Christmas Party

Les writes"Forty-five people were in attendance at our 3rd annual Christmas party hosted by John & Mary Bittence. Among our guests was Dan Kerr, DBC Regions Director, from Pittsburgh. Dan was pleased to see our turnout and cooperation among members. He compared our attendance of 45 with the 78 that were able to attend the annual Club meeting at Hershey. At the international level, the club only meets twice a year and not everyone can attend. Local groups can get together more often to get to know one another and assist with work on members’ cars. Dan was also impressed by all of the great food that was brought (and consumed). He is even considering membership in the region.
Our newest members are Wilbur and Grace Osborn from Waterford, Pa. The region is honored, as Wilbur is a charter member (#12) of the Dodge Brothers Club. We now have 64 members.
We plan on a late January meeting at a centrally-located restaurant.
