hello everyone!!

Does anyone know what the four holes in the top of the engine cover on a 1926 sedan are for? I have looked at pics but no one seems to have anything attached to them. There are 2 on each side parallel to each other.

Are you talking about the hood? If so, there are 4 aluminum button rivets that contact each other when the hood is opened to protect the paint. Only the rivets will touch, instead of the hood surface itself.
