I would like to know if there is a overdrive trans that will fit a 1936 D-2 sedan.My trans has a bearing noise,I would like to drop RPMs to help with cruising.Thanks,Dave

I'm not really sure what would fit your car I do know that you have to change drive shaft And overdrives are hard to find.

You may want to change the rear end from 4:11 to 3:9 from a 46-50's dodge ply. just change the pumpkin,that's what I did with the '37 runs real smooth.
