I cannot get the wood spoke rear wheels to pull off of my Victory Six. I can see a key that is slide in on the axle about a quarter inch. Its been 20 years since the wheels were last pulled and I have forgotten how. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I forgot about wire wheels! Being a man, I think my Victory Six is the only one in existence, as it should be! They are the wooden spoke wheels.

You need a puller that threads on the hub where your hubcap fits. Loosen the nut and remove the washer, replace the nut loosely, then tighten the center screw of the puller. If it doesn't pop off by just tightening it, wack the screw with a good size hammer. If you don't have the puller, and the car runs and drives, try loosening the nut, remove washer, replace nut loosely and drive around your yard or circle driveway, etc, and many times the hub will loosen. If you don't have a puller, you can have a machinist make one, or see if a member can rent or loan you one.
