Dodge Brothers Club poster captures Centennial Celebration

DETROIT — The Dodge Brothers Club is releasing a special limited-edition poster showcasing the largest gathering ever of early Dodge Brothers vehicles to help commemorate the centennial year of the first automobile produced by John and Horace Dodge. And, it will be available at the Fall Hershey Meet!
The Centennial gathering photo session occurred June 26 on the grounds of historic Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester Hills, Michigan, during the Dodge Brothers Club’s six-day Centennial Tour event.
“The poster spotlights the biggest gathering of 1914-1938 Dodge Brothers vehicles ever, at least that we are aware of,” said Barry Cogan, President, Dodge Brothers Club. “Our annual club gathering was very special this year, as it coincided with the 100th anniversary of the Dodge brand. This limited-edition offering provides the perfect way to commemorate the centennial of the vehicles produced by John and Horace Dodge, and demonstrate how their legacy lives on today.”
The 35th annual Dodge Brothers Club summer gathering was held in the Metro Detroit area from June 22–27, with 91 registered Dodge Brothers vehicles, including 80 featured in the club poster. Nearly 325 attendees from six different countries, including a contingent of about 30 owners from Australia and New Zealand, took part in the six-day event. Festivities included a dinner and private viewing of the Dodge Brothers Club vehicles by descendants of the Dodge family on June 25 at Meadow Brook Hall, which was built by Matilda Dodge Wilson, widow of John Dodge, and is listed as a National Historic Landmark.
The 36ʺ x 12ʺ limited-edition poster will be available for purchase by the general public for a donation of $5 plus S & H, at the Dodge Brothers Club’s online store, http://www.dodgebrothersclub.org. Posters will also be available during the Fall Hershey Region AACA Meet, scheduled for October 8–11, at the Dodge Brothers Club display.
