I am a new member just getting started with a truck I picked up last week. This is my first vehicle restore, I have restored a number of antique tractors but this is a wholly different beast! I am trying to find out more information about the truck, as well as gather any reference photos, etc that I can for it.

From what I can find, based on the title (1930), serial number (E148269), and the wheelbase (133") I think it's a DA-1-C-133 1 Ton truck manufactured in 1930. Does this seem right?

What manuals/books/etc can you recommend, and where can I find them? What references are out there for paint, body style, etc? How about parts?

Any help would be appreciated.

Very good information on your truck. Seems correct. Do you have the vin plate that is attached to the toe board on the pass side? This truck was built in Evansville, hence the E vin code.
These trucks were painted Dodge blue from the factory. If you rub lightly with rubbing compound you will get true color.
I own a 29 DB series "E" 3/4 ton stakebed. I have found a lot of information on the AACA website . My post at that site are under "stakeside.
I have done much research on these "E" series trucks. Do not confuse with the E in the vin code.

Here is a get reference book you can get thru this web site. A great $10 investment.

I also attached an ad for your truck. It looks like a DA-133.
