Does any one out there have a good way to rebuild the fiber on early DB ignition switch or know of any one offering a replacement for it?

What is the model. Is it a Clum switch?
I used a material I got from Restoration Supply. There is a link on this site.

It is a 1919 model 30. It has the Clum switch. Thinking about super glueing the layers and then clamping it together and see if that holds.

If you get the fiber pieces wet, you can then clamp them flat. Once they dry out, they will stay flat (for a while!) and you can then glue them together--but I would not use "super glue" but a very runny, non-electric epoxy, or Quik-Poly works very well too. You need it thin so it can soak into the fiber and provide a solid bond.
