Hello again, So I've finally managed to get my '16 to sputter to life, however it'll only run for about 5-10 seconds before it'll flood itself with fuel. Is there a way to adjust the stewart carb to slow the amount of fuel entering the intake? If I pull the carb off, both the air intake passthrough in the block and the intake/carb flange are always wet with fuel. It'll refuse to start again until that fuel dries, which is why I'm assuming it's flooding.
Am I maybe just starting it incorrectly? The way I've been doing it, I'll put a little splash of fuel in the primer cups, open them to let the fuel in, then immediately close them. Retard the ignition timing fully, open the throttle about half way, press clutch pedal in, then hit the starter button with my right foot. Thanks! Mike
