Does anyone happen to have a drawing or breakdown of the internals for where the hinging mechanism should be between the windshield rails and the outer posts? As far as I can tell it seems there should be 4 ball bearings of some size in each, but what else beyond that is a mystery to me as all of these parts have been lost in the abyss of time. Below is a picture of the inside of the post "cup" followed by a little bit farther away picture of the entire thing. I'm trying to find as much detailed info as possible since I'm assuming I'll have to end up making everything from scratch.

Thanks!

Mike, contact Tom Myers for the missing pieces. Only thing I've heard about taking these apart is the spring is VERY strong and the balls fall on the floor.

Perfect! I'm pretty sure I speak to Tom on a weekly basis now! Haha!

Also, funny thing about what you just said about there being strong springs, that already tells me more than what I previously knew, because I did just find a tiny box with 4 springs in it that are strong enough I mistook them for valve springs!
