I am sitting here with a million questions about my soon to be 26 sedan. I purchased a book of information and that is only adding to the anticipation of going for a first drive. Thinking about a first drive got me to wondering about where to go and then I had to think about speeds. I can go about anywhere I want to get to locally by back roads but what kind of normal speed should I expect?
Thanks all.

Congratulations on your acquisition. I agree with Rick -- my '25 purrs at around 35 mph. I had it as high as 45 mph on a straight country road shortly after I bought it. That 3 bearing engine was really humming. No sense putting it through that strain. One thing you have to remember is you have mechanical brakes on only the rear wheels. You really have to anticipate your stops. Enjoy your car.

Thanks for the feedback. I anticipated something in the 30's to 40's. No "quick" trips to the grocery store. Did not think about the brakes so thanks for that heads up.
