Does anyone know new paint codes for 1929 DA Mulberry Maroon?

I've also seen other '29's painted a lighter maroon and wonder if anyone knows the color?

Thanks

I don't see a Mulberry maroon listed as a Dodge color. Where are you getting that reference? Have you tried TCP Global? ( http://www.autocolorlibrary.com )

It lists Mulberry Maroon on page 1 of the Dodge Color Schedule. It's under 4 door sedan. (IM-449)

I am nit picking but that chart shows Mulberry for Seniors not DA's. If you have a good patch of it on your car a good paint supplier should be able to match it with SOMETHING. Old colors will not translate exactly to modern paints, the mixes just don't exist for some of them. You will probably have to find something you like and call it Mulberry. AACA library has OLD paint chips. If you call them they may be able to find it. But the numbers will be for old formulas and won't translate either. I have gone there and looked at samples then looked at modern chips to find the closest match. You probably want to use a single stage paint, like urethane, as base clear gives a false appearance for old cars. Bill Hirsch sells nitro cellulose lacquer if you want to pay his prices too. Maroon and red will be one of the higher prices colors.

I'm a truck guy and learning about the cars... So if I read this correctly, the Maroon color they used on my '29 DA was the LT. Fast Maroon NO. 4?

There is a Toga and Thorn maroon shown too for DA. DO you have any original paint to compare?
