I've just taken procession of a 1927 Dodge Touring. It an older restoration and has only done around 60 miles in last 10 years. I'm just in the process of tidying up a few things and look it for its first drive today. I've discovered I have a 2 Cylinder Dodge the front two cylinders don't seem to be doing a lot and pulling the plugs shows lots of soot. Shorting them out while idling has no impact. I'm guessing maybe stuck valves so a compression test will hopefully reveal little on no compression.
Its a little hard to start but being 2 cylinder probably explains that.
I'll post a picture or two at some point.
