I have what I think is a 1930 1 1/2 ton Dodge brothers truck I am trying to figure out the value of the motor and transmission in this truck someone offered me 500$ for the motor and transmission but I am hesitant to accept the offer if you guys can help me out it would be greatly appreciated. The I'd number on the motor is iu60300 and the serial number on the firewall is 8340441.. I can email pictures upon request as I am new to this forum and do not know how to post them I hope to hear from you all

Got some pictures? Hard to tell which series truck this is. The numbers you give do not seem to match any I am aware of for that year you gave.

I don't have a computer so I am doing these posts off of my phone and its giving me problems uploading photos so here is a craigslist link and the pictures will be on there

This is a model UF 30. Vin # 8340001 to 8344618 produced July 1930 t0 July 1932. There is a vin plate located on the floor board above the trans that will verify this.

Looks like a good parts truck. Lots of wood to be replaced in the cab and floor board. Customer would be person that is collecting or restoring this model. I am familiar with the earlier "E" series DB trucks. If this was an "E" series truck and I lived in vicinity I would say $1000.
Be sure and check out AACA site. They have a DB forum there and a sell forum.

I agree with Sherman that this is a UF30 1 1/2 ton.

Have you ordered your build card ? Can you share more info on this link if you have anymore info to share?
