This is my first post so by way of introduction, Hello, now in retirement most of my free time is taken up by Restoring my PD R/S Coupe a RHD out of Detroit and shipped to South Africa 09/12/33. Imported into the UK in 2002

My reason here is to find out as much as possible about the DS Convertible for a friend in Holland. His father's car but he doesn't do internet and of course not many of us do Dutch, so another problem. I'm pretty well accustomed to Plymouth's which relate well with Dodge apart from certain details. Did I say this is definitely a project, I have confirmed it stands on 121" W/B. the figure Patrick, son of the owner gave me was 307cm which did confuse things at one time, twin side mounts, four doors and the trunk has a bulge bringing the rear panel vertical. It also has the framework for the remains of the rag top.

I am looking for details of how the windshield is held in position and if windshield frames are available, also the front doors need work and it might be better to try and source replacements even if closed body doors had to be cut down and modified.

Hoping someone has one of these and is willing to share photos. Thank you
Tom

Just a couple of photos to wet your appetite, the car was undergoing restoration, the Engine and front suspension was rebuilt, where the windshield and side windows were stored there was a fire and unfortunately all the bright work was skipped without the owners knowledge. Need help to get this one back on the road to it's original glory.

Thanks Tom
