Last fall I acquired my 1924 type b sedan, and I have been slowly trying to fix a number of issues that were "modified" during a restoration attempt. My biggest issues were electric and fuel changes, but with help from the DBC I have been able to figure them out and return them back to original. My puzzle is this, My rear bumper looks totally different from the numerous photos I've seen from other sedans of the same years, Mine has a hitch formed into it and I'm wondering if this is off a truck or if it was an option? I also seem to have extras like cowl lights, but I didn't think they came on the B's The interior is another modified mess, but at least the seats are original. So were there special options or is this bumper a modification? I like it so ill probably keep it even if it turns out to be un-original.

Never ever seen a bumper like that! Looks like a Model T or Model A Ford rear spring or similar. Does look cool though, but not stock. I would leave it on there.
