I have a 1952 Dodge Powerwagon. The engine in it is a flathead 6. The numbers start with D2, then four numbers, then the letter I. The D2 tells me that it's from 1936, but does anyone know what the I is for?

I have contacted Danielle at Chrysler Historical Services and she was unable to give me any information. Does anyone know how I can get any more info about this engine? The number is D2-4353 I.

Thanks
