Hello all, I have from my late grandfather's shop, 3 North East Electric Co. Starter Generators.
I would like to sell them, but I don't know how much they are worth (whatever someone is willing to pay is what grandpa would say..) I thought he told me he was seeing people give 150 dollars for them, but I have not seen evidence of that. anyway... any help is appreciated. I will place them on the classifieds if anyone is interested
Two of them indicate: Model GA Type 3804
One reads: Model GA Type 3804A

Problem with these is the expense of shipping them. A few years ago I bought three off eBay for (I think, memory here) $19. Cost me about double that to get them to my door! So, the $150 price seems way outta range unless it's a completely rebuilt unit.

Thanks for the reply David, They are heavy little suckers. about 45 lbs ea. I think you are correct about the 150 dollar price being way to high - from what I have seen lately on-line. At this point, I want them out of my garage and would sell for cost of shipping and a little for handling. Anybody let me know if you want one. Thanks Mark
