That is most probably the grease cup for the clutch throw out bearing. What you see here is cap, which screws into a cup connected to the clutch throw out bearing grease fitting by a small, metal clad, hose. Unscrew this cap by turning it to the left. When it is exposed, the grease cup can be filled with grease, and, after being replaced, twisting the cap a turn or two toward tightening will force grease into rhe the throw out bearing and its collar. Recommended grease type and number/frequency of turns should be included in the cars lubrication table. Jack
