My Top Bows are rotted away, looking for wooden top bows for my 1917 Dodge Brothers Touring Car are they the same as the Ford Model T or A? Is there someone who makes them for this car and where are they located need help on this one. Also thanks for the help on other items that I needed help on in the pass, Great Club and People also and the information has help a lot. Thanks Bernie

I do not know where to get the Top Bows I think you are going to have to make them yourself. The best that I can remember T or A will not fit since the wood used is not curved like Dodge also I think Dodge bodies are wider. Good Luck

If you live close to an Amish community a buggy shop can make them. If not, I'm sure there's a utube on how to make a steam chamber out of PVC pipe. A friend made one to bend his.

There is a gentleman in the Tuoalome (SP?), California area who builds new top bows and sockets. Probably has a pattern for yours too, which is sounds like you will need. I see him at swap meets around here, but don't have his name nor contact info. Maybe Google it??

Ah, I have been informed that the guy I was thinking of only does wheels, BUT the guy who does Top Bows is located in Auburn - name is John Boorinakis (John's Enterprises), and he has done DB top bows. Hope this helps!

Thanks Dave for the info on the top wooden bows for my Dodge Touring Car, I got John phone number and talk to him. John was great to talk to, he made a full set of 4 top wooden bows they look great they are laminated but that's ok, I just have to fit them into the post, Thanks again
